About the Project
After publishing the local and rural magazine Korpo Bladet since 2017, we realized the need for a website for the island where we live that would centralize the most useful information for both locals and tourists.
We decided to build it from the ground up, from writing all the content and taking most of the pictures, to creating a killer design and developing the website to high standards of scalability, maintainability and performance.
The results
All the businesses, associations and tourist attractions on the island have been unified and promoted. Therefore, the whole community of Korpo, as well as tourists interested on the island, are benefiting from this website. A pure example of Ubuntu.

About the Project
Hotel Nestor and Restaurant Back pocket has always been a place to rest and eat well in the heart of a beautiful and picturesque village in Korpo. They needed a website that reflected all these values.
We built them a brand identity and a website where users can book a room, reserve a table at their fine dining restaurant and also buy gift cards for their packages.
The results

About the Project
Sara, the owner of Naawa Nature and Korpo Kajabod, wanted a website that communicated the joy of connecting with nature. The colours for the brand were defined by an existing logo, but we helped with all the other branding elements.
The website integrates a booking system for Naawas Tentsiles, Hamocs and camping places, as well as a booking system for their guided kayak tours and other Ourdoors activities.
The results
Visitors to Naawa’s website are very happy with how easy it is to find out about Naawa’s services. Bookings for accommodation and activities have increased significantly thanks to the website.

About the Project
This unique art exhibition, installed in a forest area, wanted a website that would reflect the colours and feelings of being in this natural space contemplating contemporary works of art.
At the same time, we were asked to photograph and collect information about the annual exhibitions to be published on the website, and to create blog posts for a specific campaign in 2022.

Yes, of course. While we handle most of the work involved in designing and building a website, it is important to understand that you (or another designated member of your team) will need to contribute some of your own time to the project. To ensure a smooth workflow, it is best to have a clear idea of the content you want your website to include before we begin. If you have any graphic materials for the website, make sure they are organized and easily accessible. Also, make sure to set aside time to provide us with feedback as we move through the process. Additionally, a smooth, straightforward and structured communication always helps in the process.

The prices listed on this page are illustrative as the final price will be a part of the proposal that we will send you after we hold a discovery meeting to discuss your needs and goals. Examples of things that can increase the cost of a site include: the amount of pages needed, the need to translate the site, the need for a blog, the need for a membership area, the time frame, the need of complex animations or integrations and more.
If you aren’t subscribing to one of our management plans, you will need to purchase the licences for the necessary plugins to build your site. In this case, we will include a list of plugins and the cost of their licences in the proposal. If you purchase one of our management plans, most of the required licences will be included in the package. Licences for plugins that are very specific to your project won’t be included.
While it is not necessary, it is highly recommended. When we design and build a website, we are the ones who have a full overview of the project, the plugins used and the way things are built. Aarón
Aarón Blanco Tejedor
Aarón is the son of a family of internal migrants in northern Spain. He never met his grandparents and was never baptised. These three peculiar circumstances shaped Aarón into an adventurous and unrooted soul, always curious and open to new ideas.
After moving, studying and working in various places, he met Ida-Kajsa in Seville and they began a life journey together that took them to many different places in Peru, Spain and Finland. The first summer Aarón spent in Korpo, working as a waiter at Skärgårdscentrum Korpoström, he fell in love with the island, and as soon as they moved here, he felt a spiritual transformation inside: he finally felt rooted in a place surrounded by nature, and his creativity exploded.
Always humanistic and now deeply connected to his creativity, Aarón realised that he wanted to focus on using his natural talents and hardworking spirit to help other positive companies and associations achieve their goals.

Ida-Kajsa
Ida-Kajsa Johansson
Ida-Kajsa, who is native to this Finnish archipelago where we live, wanted to explore different cultures and learn new things at a young age. At the age of 19, she followed her heart and moved to Spain to learn Spanish. While there, she founded a company in Internet Marketing, which served as the basis for her current work at Ubuntu Productions. After leading the company for several years, Ida-Kajsa and Aarón met during a business trip and began a lifelong journey together.
This journey took them to many different places in Peru, Spain and Finland. During these years, Ida-Kajsa studied to become a goldsmith and did internships in different parts of Spain with the goldsmiths she admired. At the same time she studied to become a yoga teacher in the south of Spain. While working the summer season as manager of the restaurant side of Skärgårdscentrum Korpoström, they decided to move to Korpo, a dream that Ida-Kajsa had held in her soul for a long time.
After moving to the island, giving birth to two incredibly beautiful and energetic children and battling breast cancer, she is more determined than ever to fight for a world where women and rural communities have a voice and work towards a more balanced and compassionate humanity. She works with several local associations like Pro Korpo, FÖSS and Folkhälsan, and is the director, content creator and designer of the monthly rural magazine Pro Korpo Bladet.
